The College of Health and Fitness, all its staff and owner Tony Attridge are proud and pleased to congratulate our past student Cory Hendy on being awarded Fitness Australia’s first ActiveAus Student Award last Friday night at the Fitness Australia symposium on the Gold Coast.

Cory is one of the most dedicated and committed people we have seen come through the College and this award is well earned recognition for the time and effort he has put in to not only develop his own business and reputation, but also for the assistance he has provided to the College on numerous occasions.

The Fitness Australia press release explains that ‘The award recognises the outstanding achievements of qualified fitness students and those who go ‘above and beyond’’

Further, ‘Fitness Australia CEO Lauretta Stace said “The Student Award is about promoting and encouraging excellence in the fitness trainers and instructors of the future. Cory’s dedication to improving the health and wellbeing of his clients makes him a perfect example of the young talent in the fitness industry.”’

In his speech, Cory thanked the College, and in particular our trainers David Berry and Fiona Glover, who helped give Cory some of the skills and knowledge to get established in the industry, but it’s Cory who has put in the hard work. This recognition by his peers is well deserved.

We wish Cory all the best for the future and have no doubt that he will continue to build his reputation and succeed in the industry.
