What opportunities are available to those who graduate from the Diploma in Fitness? This video explains:

Hi guys, my name is Tony from the College of Health and Fitness. One of the most common questions I get is, “What are the extra opportunities are available to me while completing Diploma in Fitness course?

What we find is students who graduate from our Diploma of Fitness courses have a whole range of new and exciting business opportunities. Now they can actually range from working within a physiotherapy practice, working within a chiropractic practice, working within other allied health professionals such as myopractors and expanding and working in the tertiary and secondary rehab realm.

What it also allows you to do is, in some instances you may actually be able to apply to get a Medicare provider number. What that then allows your clients to do is to be able to claim a rebate based on the services that you provide them. Now, that is on a case-by-case basis and you may have to apply to a relevant health fund.

The business opportunities that we do discuss within your course rely on the fact of what experience you are bringing into the course before you start. So it is imperative when you commence one of our Diploma courses that you are working within the industry.

That way then, we can actually guide your experience and structure and tailor the program to your specific needs as well as providing you with the best opportunities where you can expand your business, in your local area, where you are currently working.

If you are not working within the industry, that’s not a problem. However, in our experience, you will get more out of it if you have your own PT business or if you are currently working within a fitness facility.

Other opportunities within allied health professions and working with Diploma of Fitness is that you may also start to work within Veterans Affairs and you may also be able to start doing cardiac rehab and also working with diabetes associations. These are some of the outcomes that a number of our students have been able to obtain while completing the Diploma in Fitness.
