STUDY ONLINE

STUDY CERTIFICATE IV IN FITNESS (SIS40215)

While the college team continue to advocate face-to-face learning as the ideal for people who are wishing to work in the fitness industry, this is not always possible for everyone.

Because of this, we offer online courses, where students can access their learning text, receive support, submit written material and engage with peers. This is an increasingly popular solution for a whole host of reasons including;

  • fitness_tick2

    Online study means that students avoid expensive travel costs and other non-studying elements.

  • fitness_tick2

    Students can embrace the world-class service even when they aren’t in Brisbane.

  • fitness_tick2

    Students can learn at a pace to suit their personal preferences and other life commitments.

  • fitness_tick2

    Students can continue their development in an autonomous fashion that encourages future success.

  • fitness_tick2

    Students can keep a record of all interactions, which can then be studied for further development.

Students on the e-learning platform will still need access to a fitness facility on occasion, to complete some of the practical requirements and fulfil the requirements of their Logbook. They may still visit the college if they require a little extra help, but this program does provide the ultimate level of control. Conversely, those looking for a more traditional approach to learning can find part-time solutions. The College of Health & Fitness staff offers as much flexibility as possible, empowering students to complete the course in the best way for them.

I was a 55+ woman who was struggling to find work. As i loved to train myself I decided to complete a course in health and fitness. The team at the College of Health and Fitness were marvelous. Any questions I asked they were happy to answer. I have to thank Bridgett Cooke for her fabulous teaching skills and the ability to make me feel comfortable in a class of people who were a whole lot younger than me. I am proud to say I passed with flying colours and I am now employed in a gym doing what I love. I would recommend the College to anyone who wants to get into the fitness field.
